You’re invited to an intimate discussion with Susan Feldman, Co-Founder & Chief Merchandising Officer of the uber-popular flash sales site One Kings Lane.
A pioneer in the field of flash sales sites, One Kings Lane dominates the market for home decor, furnishings, accessories, and gifts. Founded in 2009, the site exceeded $200 million in revenue in 2012; employs 350 people; and was valued at $440 million during its last round of funding.
You’ll have the opportunity to ask Susan how she helped to popularize innovative concepts like “tastemaker” sales, in which celebrities and high-profile trendsetters present selections of items for sale; and she drove awareness of her brand through partnerships with outlets like the Bravo TV interior design reality show, “Million Dollar Decorators.”
About the Guest
Susan Feldman is the co-founder and chief merchandising officer of One Kings Lane.
In addition to overseeing all buying and merchandising, she travels the world with leading tastemakers to bring exciting and unique products to customers through the company’s specialized sales.
Susan has been featured in Vanity Fair’s 2012 "New Establishment" list, and has appeared on The Martha Stewart Show and in House Beautiful, HGTV Magazine, InStyle, People StyleWatch, and Real Simple as an expert on home decor and lifestyle trends.
Prior to One Kings Lane, Susan held various senior positions in the apparel industry, including vice president of sales at Polo Jeans and president of sales at Lauren Ralph Lauren Sleepwear.
A native New Yorker, she received her MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA and her BA from Stanford University. Susan lives in the Hollywood Hills with her family. She loves to decorate her house with the unique mementos she collects during her travels, and playing with her two yellow labs, Chloe and Maggie (who is One Kings Lane’s now-iconic canine mascot).
